Maliki says Iraq angry from PKK activities

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri a-Maliki expressed on Tuesday Iraq’s anger and dismay with the Kurdistan Workers Party’s ‘terrorist acts’ against Turkey, stressing the importance of the regional cooperation between neighboring countries in this respect, al-Maliki’s office said in a statement. “This came during his meeting with Turkey’s deputy foreign minister,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com. “He highlighted the importance of regional cooperation between the neighboring countries to face the terrorist organizations working in the border regions,” it added. “The two also discussed isses of common concern and means of developing cooperation between the two countries in various domains,” the statement also said.
