Mashhadani calls tribes to contribute in consolidating national unity

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani called “The tribes to contribute in consolidating the national unity among the various Iraqi Communities.”

During his meeting with a tribal delegation, he assured “The tribes should participate in relieving the tensions and to be away from the political conflicts.”

He stressed “The necessity of adopting unified national stance towards the sectarian conflicts.”

“The tribal figures and the chieftains have the responsibility to urge their tribes to avoid the political disputes which are temporary,” he concluded.
