Massari: Erbil Tuesday meeting to be held at Talabani’s residence

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ahmed al-Massari, of the Iraqiya Slate expected that “The meeting of Erbil, which will be held on Tuesday, will be held at the residence of the President, Jalal Talabani to discuss the means of choosing the next prime minister.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) , he stated “Erbil meeting will be attended by the Iraqiya Slate, the Kurdistani Alliance and some of the constitutes of the Iraqi National Alliance,” noting that “The meeting will also request Talabani to request the parliament to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.”

He added “The parliament can withdraw confidence from Maliki because the attendants of Erbil meeting can form a majority to change Maliki.”

It is probable that a five-sided meeting will be held in Erbil on Tuesday to be attended by the President of Kurdistan Alliance, Masoud Barzani, the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, the Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi, the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, and a delegation from Sadr Trend to discuss the resolutions of Najaf and Erbil meetings.”
