Mayahi calls some political sides not to politicize Anbar crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White bloc called some political blocs not to politicize the crisis in Anbar to achieve electoral aims.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, Mayahi said “The tribes in Anbar were the first to fight terrorism and their sons are an important part of the Iraqi people where all political sides have to consider as defenders for the democracy in Iraq.”

“Some try to distort the truth and accuse the military forces, the government and the resisting tribes of false accusations by different means such as hindering the endorsement of the law drafts or suspending attending the parliament session without considering the morals of the political system in Iraq and to achieve electoral aims,” he concluded.
