Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi of the White bloc denied what has been reported by Kitabat website that “Mayahi and a number of MPs from the White bloc signed the request to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The White bloc will sue Kitabat website because it violated the laws of press,” noting that “The website included my name and the name of MP, Kadhim al-Shimmari within the list of MPs who signed the request to withdraw confidence from Maliki which will lead to chaos in a time the country needs to consolidate the stability.”

“The White bloc rejects absolutely the attempt to topple the government and will not vote for withdrawing confidence from Maliki,” he concluded.

The spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”
