Maysan PC cancels investigating Maysan Governor

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) Maysan Provincial Council canceled the investigation process of Maysan Governor, Ali Lazim Dawai, over some financial and administrative issues.

The Chairman of Maysan PC, Abdul Hussein Abdul Redha, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Monday “Maysan PC decided to cancel investigating Dawai after submitting an obligation, by the Ahrar bloc, to which Dawai belongs, that Dawai will follow all the orders and requests of the PC to assign or release any Director Generals in the province.”

“A committee within the local governorate has been formed to follow up the financial breaches and will submit its report to the PC over this issue,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that Dawai’s investigation was postponed for two times due to his requests for preparing the documents regarding the investigation questions.
