Maysan PC holds urgent meeting to discuss political crisis

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) Maysan Provincial Council held an urgent meeting to discuss the current political crisis and its consequences of the general situation in the province with the absence of the members of Ahrar bloc on Sunday.

The head of Maysan PC, Abdul Hussien, Abdul Ridha, stated to IraqiNews.com “The political disputes and the exchanged accusations will not affect the performance of the PC which is kept away from the political disputes.”

The PC member, Falih Tuma of the State of Law Coalition assured “The SLC calls the political sides to adopt the dialogue which is called for by The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim.”

The member of the Reform Trend, Raad al-Musawi, announced his rejection for “The attempt of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki,” calling the bloc to “Avoid partisan interests.”

Earlier, the spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”
