“Only a military solution will settle the Anbar crisis” – MP Sineid

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee, MP Hasan al-Sineid assured that “Only the military solution can settle the Anbar crisis since any other political initiative will relief the embargo on Qaeda Organization.”

MP Sineid of the State of Law Coalition mentioned to IraqiNews.com Saturday “The crisis in Anbar is security rather than political which is limited between the Iraqi Security Forces and the Qaeda Terrorist Organization.”

“We cannot have a political deal with the Qaeda Organization,” he added, noting that “We do not have any disputes with the Sunni tribes or local government in Anbar.”

“The Prime Minister has appreciated an initiative from the Iraqi Tribes to show support for the Anbar Tribes over confronting terrorism but this initiative does not carry any political aspect,” according to MP Sineid, who stressed “Any political initiative that could be launched at this time will be for the benefit of the Qaeda Organization.”
