MP accuses blocs of hurdling important laws in parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Salman al-Musawi, of the State of Law Coalition accused “Some political blocs of hurdling the important law drafts in the parliament.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Some important laws like the Communication and Informatics Law are hindered where some blocs insist on postponing and hurdling them.”

“Among the significant law drafts that must be endorsed are the Oil and Gas Law in addition to the Parties Law which was amended recently despite the fact that it was presented to the parliament since one year,” he concluded.

These accusations come while some political sides accuse the government of intending to weaken the parliament.
