MP accuses parliament Chairmanship of negligence concerning MPs’ absence

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shakir al-Daraji, of the State of Law Coalition accused “The parliament Chairmanship of neglecting the issue of some MPs’ absence from the parliament sessions.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Chairmanship did not depend on a certain law in dealing with this issue where some MPs like the head of the Iraqiya Slate and some others did not attend the sessions for years.”

“The attempt of investigating the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in the parliament will not be accomplished,” he added.

“The situation is different currently where another political tendency was adopted,” he concluded.
