Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ameen Farhan Jijo, head of the Izidi Movement for Reformation called “To consider the problems of the Izidi community which suffers from exclusion and illegal practices.”

In a statement issued on the occasion of holding the session of the Council of Ministers in Nineveh province on last Tuesday, he said “Holding the session in Nineveh is a positive step which has national dimensions over government’s adherence to preserve the unity of Iraq.”

“Most of the minor communities in Iraq live in Nineveh province including the Izidi community,” he added.

“On the margins of the meeting of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, with the tribal figures, Izidi figures called Maliki to save the community form the Kurdish illegal practices against them,” he noted.

MP Jijo called Maliki to “implement the demands of the Izidi community to relieve them from the crises.”
