MP calls to host Acting Defense Minister, Deputy MoD over latest assassination attempts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Riyadh al-Zaidi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend called to host the Acting Defense Minister and the Deputy Minister of Defense over the latest assassination attempts for some security officials.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) , he stated “To reveal the reasons behind the latest security breaches, the parliament has to host the Acting Defense Minster, Sadoun al-Dulaimi, and the Deputy Minister, Adnan al-Asadi.”

“The responsibility of the security file must be held by all the political blocs because they are within the security system and posts,” pointing out “Parliament holds the biggest responsibility over the security breaches.”

“There are some sides that are concerned over hosting Dulaimi at the parliament because there might be some facts to be revealed over those security breaches,” he concluded.
