MP calls to liberate MPs from blocs leaders, parliament Chairmanship’s control

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition called “To liberate MPs from control of the blocs leaders and Parliament Chairmanship.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The blocs leaders and the parliament Chairmanship are controlling the decisions and the opinions of all MPs.”

“It is awful that five or ten persons control the whole parliament without taking into consideration the views of 310 MPs who represent Iraqis,” he added, calling to “Find solution for this problem.”

He urged “MPs to get free and to voice their opinions according to what they think as right and good for the citizens who elected them.”

Some MPs protest the control of the blocs leaders over their decisions concerning votes conducted over law drafts.
