MP criticizes Davutoglu’s visit to Kurdistan Region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Qasim al-Araji, of the Iraqi National Alliance, criticized the visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu to Kurdistan Region and Kirkuk province.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Davutoglu’s visit to Iraq without a prior notification to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, violates the Iraqi sovereignty and is considered a provocation to the Federal Government in addition to be not welcomed interference.”

“The Foreign Ministry must take the suitable action to preserve the respect of the state and its sovereignty from such violations to the diplomatic traditions,’ he concluded.
