MP criticizes parliament for not voting on general amnesty law draft

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Yasin al-Mutleg, of the Iraqiya Slate criticized the parliament for not voting on the general amnesty law draft.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The parliament was supposed to vote on the general amnesty law draft before Eid al-Fitr in order to make it accompany this occasion, but the political disputes among the political blocs delayed it.”

“The political disputes are affecting the performance of the parliament either in the observatory or the legislative roles,” calling to “Avoid involving the parliament in the performance of the parliament to endorse the law drafts and practice its real role.”
