MP demands to follow equality in treating political prisoners

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Parliamentary Martyrs and Political Prisoners Committee, Birzad Shaban, demanded the Government to adopt equality in granting the rights of the political prisoners and not to discriminate among them. MP Shaban said “There should be equality in granting the rights for the political prisoners and their families of the victims of the former regime,” demanding “not to adopt discrimination in treating them.” “Among those, we call to give their rights, are the political prisoners of jails such as DiyarBakir prisoners in Turkey, Dohuk Palace, Rawanduz of the Faili Kurds and others,” she concluded.
