MP describes decisions of Najaf meeting as Official

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jamal Kilani, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed “The reason behind the attempt of withdrawing confidence from the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, is the message of Najaf meeting that he delivered to the Iraqi National Alliance.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The initiative was launched by some MPs to withdraw confidence from Nijaifi because he delivered the message of Najaf meeting to the leader of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, as well as the leaders of the Kurdistani Alliance for signing it.”

“The head of the political blocs who did not attend Najaf meeting have sent their representatives and Muqtada al-Sadr represents the INA which means that the decisions of Najaf meeting are official,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that MPs from the State of Law Coalition conduct an initiative to withdraw confidence from Nijaifi.
