MP describes Majeed, Atroushi’s statements as Personal

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jabbar al-Kinani, of the State of Law Coalition assured that “The statements launched by the member of the SLC, Yasin Majeed, and the member of the Kurdistani Alliance, Firhad al-Atroushi, as personal and they did not represent the KA or the SLC.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “These statements are personal and they do not represent the vision of the KA or the Iraqi National Alliance,” noting that “Such statements must be avoided to prevail the national interests.”

He urged “The political blocs to settle the disputes through the dialogue and to neglect the tensions and the mutual accusations.”

Earlier, MP, Firhad al-Atroushi, of the Kurdistani Alliance criticized the statements of MP, Yasin Majid, of the State of Law Coalition over describing the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, as being “A danger to the security and economy of Iraq.”

“Majid’s accusations to Barzani of being a danger to the economy of Iraq resulted from the latter’s stances over wasting the public fund without providing the required services to the Iraqis,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that MP, Yasin Majid, has accused Barzani of being “A danger to the economy and security of Iraq where he wants Kurdistan Region to have a powerful political role rather than Baghdad and the Pishmirga elements to replace the IA.”
