MP: Endorsement of pioneer athletes’ grants to result in future sport achievements

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Sport and Youth Parliamentary Committee, Mohamed al-Da’ami, assured “The parliament vote on the monthly grants to be paid for the pioneer athletes will result in future achievements in future in sport fields.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Sport and Youth Parliamentary Committee worked along the previous year to draft this law,” noting that “The parliament approval for this law with its majority represents its interest in upgrading the sport in Iraq.”

The parliament endorsed the Pioneer Athletes’ grants on last Tuesday session.
