MP: Failures in electric sector resulted from financial, administrational corruption

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mutashar al-Samarai, of the Iraqiya Slate and the member of the Parliamntary Energy Commiittee stated that the failures in the electric sector have resulted from the financial and administrative corruption in the governmental institution.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, Samarai stressed the necessity of “Finding quick solutions to the problem of the electricity that lasted for ten years.”

“There is a difficulty in revealing the corruption files in the Ministry of Electricity,” he added, noting that “To settle this issue, we have to reveal the corruption files that were done by powerful sides in this sector,” he concluded.
