MP: KA not to exploit its role as Mediator among blocs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Muayad al-Tayib, of the Kurdistani Alliance announced that “The KA does not exploit its role as a mediator among the political blocs to settle the current crisis to gain certain advantages.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “When the KA plays the role of the mediator, its only aim is to speed up reaching a settlement for the crisis.”

“The KA used to call for the partnership among the bloc and to adhere to Erbil Agreement,” he stressed, assuring that “The mediation of the KA between the State of Law Coalition and the Iraqiya Slate is to consolidate the supreme national interest.”

“The KA is a trustworthy by all sides of the political process,” he mentioned, concluding that “The KA does not exploit its role to impose its demands.”

The political blocs are conducting preparatory meeting to hold the upcoming national meeting which is called for by the President, Jalal Talabani, to settle the political crisis yet these meeting did not result in identifying the place or time of the meeting yet.

The political process witnesses complicated disputes that coincided with the US troops’ withdrawal especially between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition when the IS decided to suspend attendance of its MPs to parliament sessions to protest “marginalization and monopolization policies” adopted by the Iraqi government.
