Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salaam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition considered the silence of the Kurds over the statements of MP, Yasin Majid against Barzani, as “To set good atmosphere to endorse the law drafts that are important for them.”

He stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday “The main reason behind the visit of the Kurdish delegation to Baghdad is to make a deal over the Re-considering Borders law draft set by the President, Jalal Talabani, which was rejected by the MPs of the Iraqiya Slate because it affects the borders of the provinces that they belong to.”

“The stance of the IS over this law draft is different from the stance of the Iraqi National Alliance where the INA does not object it, but it will not vote on it without a political deal with it,” he added.

“The silence of the Kurds over Majid’s statement to settle the pending issues between Baghdad and Kurdistan Region by sending the Kurdish delegation to conduct the negotiations,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that MP, Yasin Majid, has accused Barzani of being “A danger to the economy and security of Iraq where he wants Kurdistan Region to have a powerful political role rather than Baghdad and the Pishmirga elements to replace the IA.”
