MP: political aims behind revealing corruption cases at current time

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ahmed Uraibi, of the White bloc pointed out that “There are political aims behind the threats over revealing corruption cases of some officials at the current time.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “These threats against MPs and officials at the current time which witness political crisis aims at overthrowing them through the media outlets,” noting that “If there are such cases, it is better to refer them to the judicial sides.”

“Presenting such files through the media outlets is an uncivilized activity that harms the Iraqis and the political figures as well,” he concluded.
