MP: SLC to adopt early elections as Only solution for crisis in case national meeting fails

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aboud al-Esawi, of the State of Law Coalition assured that “The early elections will be the only solution for the current crisis if the national meeting fails.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The SLC is not adopting this option currently but it will adopted in case the national meeting fails,” noting that “The SLC and the Iraqi National Alliance are determined to conduct reformations settle the crisis.”

“There are some sides that oppose the reformations that the President, Jalal Talabani, and the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, called for,” he stressed.

“INA formed a committee to conduct the reformations concerning the legislative, executive and judicial authorities as well as Kurdistan Region,” he mentioned.

“If the other political sides rejected the proposal of INA concerning the reformation, we will head to conduct early elections,” he concluded.
