MP surprised by spending huge budgets despite deterioration of security situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Najeba Najeb, of Kurdistan Alliance and the member within the Financial Parliamentary Committee expressed her surprise by disbursement for huge financial budgets for Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior with no improvement in security situation.

Speaking to IraqiNews.com she stated ”The disbursement of these funds should have a positive reflections on people’s lives and should be under control by supervisory authority.’

”’The current security situation is the worst compared with all previous years,” she added. ”The deterioration in security situation must be studied and analyzed in order to discover the real reasons behind it,” stressing that ”The lack in intelligence efforts contributed in current deterioration of security situation,” she explained.

A series of explosions took place in Baghdad on Wednesday morning and resulted in killing and wounding many innocent people.
