MP: Turkey ready to cooperate with Iraq over fighting terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hassan Shiwairid, the head of the Foreign Relations Committee stated that Turkey is ready to cooperate with Iraq to fight terrorism.

Speaking to IraqiNews.com, Shiwairid stated “Iraq wants to have good relations with the neighboring countries,” noting that “Iraq have joint interests with Turkey where it is the second biggest investing country in Iraq.”

“The security situation is very important for Iraq and the region and Turkey is aware of the danger resulted from the instability of some countries and it is ready to cooperate with Iraq to fight terrorism,” he concluded. /End/
