Murshidi calls politicians to set national benefits before personal ones

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of New Iraq Alliance, Aamer al-Murshidi, stated “What the political leaders are doing is not done by any politicians in the world because they set their personal benefits over the national ones.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated ” The current situation is the worse since 1921 where the government struggles with many sides, the Kurds are serious about announcing the Kurdish country, the threat of spitting by some provinces, the threat to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker, the resignation of the President and the foreign interferences all these factors makes the current situation as the worse one.”

“The results of the current situation will not be good for the Iraqi people and will affect the building and investment levels,” he added, noting that “It is not good to withdraw confidence from the government because this will result in instable situation.”

He called the political blocs to “Unify the attitudes and to remember your slogans because the Iraqi people made you in these posts and wait you to serve them.”
