Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sameera al-Musawi, of the State of Law Coalition criticized “The visit of the Iraqiya Slate leaders to Turkey despite the current crisis and tensions among between the two countries.”

She stated to IraqiNews.com “These visits indicate that the IS leaders seeking foreign solution abroad especially in Turkey which we have a real and critical problem with currently represented by the visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister to Kirkuk without coordination with the Iraqi Government and the Iraqi Foreign Affairs Ministry.”

“The IS leaders would better discuss the Iraqi internal affairs with the Iraqi leaders,” she added.

“The visit of the Turkish FM was received with public and governmental condemnation,” she stressed.

“These IS leaders’ visits to Turkey indicate that they take the advice from the Turkish sides,” she concluded.

Some of the IS leaders visited Turkey recently meeting with the Turkish officials despites the tensions between the two countries.

The Secretary General of the Iraqi Islamic Party and the head of al-Wasat Alliance within the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad al-Samarai, visited Turkey and discussed with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, the Iraqi and regional issues in addition to the issues of north of Iraq.

Earlier, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, and the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, discussed the updates of the Iraqi internal situation according to a statement by the Turkish News Agency on Friday in Ankara where the meeting was not attended by media outlets.

During its 35th session held on Tuesday, the Council of Ministers decided to form “A committee to investigate the visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, to Kirkuk on last Thursday.”
