Mutahidon: Nijaifi represents our sole candidate for President, Parliament Speaker posts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leading figure within Mutahidon Coalition, Mohamed al-Khalidi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, is our sole candidate to assume the President, or the parliament Speaker posts.”

He added “We are adherent to his nomination,” noting that “We object nominating the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, for a 3rd term.”

“The political blocs are going on in their meetings to reach agreements over forming the next government,” he concluded.
