Mutleg, British Minister discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad ( The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, discussed with the British Minister of Middle East and North Africa Affairs discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and the UK.

A statement by Mutleg’s office received by “Mutleg received the Minister and the accompanied delegation at his office in Baghdad on Tuesday,” noting that “Both sides discussed the political and economic cooperation that serve the interests of the two countries.”

“Both sides focused on the internal Iraq and the regional updates in the middle-east and the consequences of the Syrian situation on the region,” the statement continued.

“The British Minister expressed his hope to reach satisfactory solutions by the political blocs through the dialogues to ensure civil peace and the democratic achievements,” the statement concluded.
