Mutleg resumes his duties at his office

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, resumed his duties on Wednesday.

The first activity for Mutleg at his office was meeting the Turkish Ambassador.

A statement by Mutleg’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Mutleg received the Turkish Ambassador and discussed with him the means of developing bilateral relations between the two countries.”

“Both sides discussed the regional situation and stressed the importance of adopting the dialogue to reach common points that consolidate historical and brotherly relations among the countries of the region,” the statement added.

“Mutleg emphasized the significance of upgrading the cooperation in services, investment, sciences, culture and artistic fields,” the statement mentioned.

“For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his gratitude for Mutleg assuring the Turkish government’s adherence to enhance relations with Iraq,” the statement concluded.
