National security advisor meets Kuwaiti delegation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: National Security Advisor Muwaffaq al-Rubaie discussed with a visiting Kuwaiti media delegation the recent developments in Iraq and the region. “Iraq is keen to develop good-neighboring relations,” read a release issued by the Iraqi cabinet’s National Media Center and received by IraqiNews.com, quoting Rubaie as saying. “Iraq seeks to establish a regional security system with the aim of achieving cooperation in the fields of combating terrorism, security and intelligence coordination,” according to the release. On Saturday, the delegation met with Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani and his deputy, Tareq al-Hashemi, in two separate meetings. SS (P) 1
