New political Alliance, headed by Chalabi, to be announced Saturday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Congress, headed by Ahmed al-Chalabi, announced “Forming a new political alliance under the name of Alliance of the Independent Political blocs.”

The spokesman of the INC, Mohamed al-Musawi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The new Alliance will be announced during a ceremony at Sheraton Hotel in Baghdad on Saturday afternoon.”

The political observers expected forming new alliances in preparation for joining the Provincial elections at the end of 2012.
