New political bloc formed in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The head of the parliament’s agriculture committee said on Tuesday that a new political bloc was formed under the name “the united national bloc throughout Iraq ”. “The new bloc aims to attract national powers in Iraq and it consists of several parties, including Yazidi and Kurdish parties,” MP Mahmoud al-Azawi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The new bloc exists throughout Iraq . It started from Mosul , Kirkuk and Baghdad ,” the lawmaker said. “The bloc will hold a plenary conference in Baghdad soon,” he said, pointing out that the bloc will not compete in the coming parliamentary elections early 2010.
