Nijaifi: Border forces controls situation in Rabiya border outlet between Iraq, Syria

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Nineveh, Athil al-Nijaifi, confirmed that “The Border forces control the situation in Rabiya border post between Iraq and Syria.”

Informed source from the Governorate stated “Nijaifi visited a checkpoint for the border elements at the borders between Iraq and Syria.”

“Hundreds of the Iraqi families want to pass through al-Yarubiya outlet to come to Nineveh province but the Syrian authorities blocked the outlet and announced its intention to open it on next Thursday,” he added.
