Nijaifi confirms parliament support for IMN

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Mohamed Abdul Jabbar al-Shabout, discussed the means and the laws that can upgrade the situation of the media.

A statement by the parliament received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi received Shabout who briefed him over the performance of the IMN and the impediments that hurdle its works in addition to the necessity of speeding up the endorsement of the law drafts that serve the media sector.”

“Nijaifi presented a number of proposals to develop the IMN performance, confirming the parliament support for Network,” the statement added.

“Nijaifi received the medal of the IMN presented its head in appreciation for Nijaifi’s role in supporting the Iraqi media,” the statement concluded.
