Nijaifi shows concerns over increase of criminal attacks against citizens

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, showed concerns over the increase of the criminal acts against the innocents in Iraq without taking the suitable actions to protect them.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “While strongly condemning the latest terrorist attacks that targeted the Iraqi citizens in most of the Iraqi provinces which show the insistence of the criminals on the continuity in their savage way, we hold the security forces the responsibly of those security breaches that cannot be neglected anymore.”

“We would like to remind that sustaining stability in Iraq and protecting the citizens, is the responsibility of the security forces because they are the responsible for this file and it is their main task that they were formed for, so they are required to prove their ability to provide security and protect the citizens,” he added.

He expressed “His deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the innocent citizens due to the criminal attacks, wishing the quickest recover to the injured and the mercy to the dead ones.”
