Nijaifi to hold meeting among political leaders, parliamentary committees next Thursday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, will hold a meeting for the parliament chairmanship, the heads of the political blocs and the parliamentary committees to discuss some issues.

A parliamentary source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday “The issues that will be discussed in the meeting are the nomination of the members of the Independent High Electoral Committee, the law of the provincial elections, the Federal Court and the Supreme Judicial Council law drafts in addition to some other laws prepared by the parliamentary committees.”

“The meeting will also discuss investigating the ministers who did not spend more than 50% of their ministerial budgets,” the source concluded.

The parliament will resume its session on next Thursday.
