Nijaifi, Yazidi delegation discuss political updates in Nineveh

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with a delegation from the Yazidi Community the political updates in Nineveh province and the importance of the cooperation among the political blocs.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi received the Yazidi delegation, at his office on Monday, headed by MP, Farhan Jijo and the membership of the member of Nineveh Provincial Council, Khadida Khalaf Eido.”

“Nijaifi discussed with the delegation the political updates in Nineveh province and the importance of the cooperation among the political blocs to achieve the needs of the citizens of Nineveh,” the statement added.

“The two sides assured the importance of achieving the general interest of the province and make it a base for the alliances formation during the next period of time,” the statement concluded.
