Nineveh Governor: IS gets 70 signatures, KA 57, Sadr Trend to withdraw confidence from Maliki

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Nineveh province, Athil al-Nijaifi, revealed “Collecting 70 MPs’ signatures by the Iraqiya Slate and 57 by the Kurdistani Alliance as well as 40 others by Sadr Trend to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We hope IS to gather ten more signatures,” noting that “The KA is going on talking with the Taghyeer Slate to complete the number of 57 MPs’ signatures.”

“The number of signatures collected exceeded the required and Maliki will be the first PM to be dismissed through democratic way,” he concluded.
