Ninewa governor stresses importance of understanding Palestinians’ condition

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The Ninewa governor on Tuesday stressed the importance of the security authorities’ understanding of the Palestinian community’s condition in the province, according to a media source. “Governor Atheel al-Nejefi met on Tuesday (May 5) with the Palestinian community in Ninewa and listened to their problems,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The governor underlined the importance of the security authorities’ understanding of the community’s condition,” he added. “The 300 Palestinian families have been living in Ninewa with Iraqis since 1948,” he also said. The governor highlighted the importance of choosing a representative of the community to speak on their behalf about their problems. Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Ninewa.
