No Feasibility Expected on 100-day Maliki’s Period, IraqiNews.com Readers Predict

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A referendum made IraqiNews.com revealed that most of its Arabic, English and Kurdish leaders believe that the 100-day period stipulated by Premier Maliki for the evaluation of governmental and provinces work is not  feasible. The referendum, transmitted on the electronic site of the agency (Arabic version) during the period from 20 April last till 9 May instant that 207 voters (82.07%) out of 252 believe that the period is not feasible, while 18 participants (7.17%) said it will be feasible in way or another, and the same percentage voted for its feasibility on the medium levels, while 9 voted (11.53%) they do not know the results of the rebate period. On the other hand, 14 voters (53.84) out of 26 in the Kurdish edition said that the period is not feasible, while 6 voters (23.07) said it will be feasible to longer extent, 3 voters believed in it on the medium level, and other 3 voted they do not know the feasibility of the period. 85 voters (53.12%) of the English edition out 160 participants voted for its infeasibility, 27 (23.12) voted for it on the longer extent, 23 (14.37%) for it on the medium level and 15 (9.37%) of the participants voted their ignorance of the results. On 28 February, 2011, Premier Nouri Al-Maliki, following the demonstrations  that took place in different Iraqi provinces, gave a 100-day period to evaluate the work of his government. More than 70 days elapsed, which state of affairs puts the government before difficult alternatives if the people believe there are no progress is made in different dossiers, particularly the services sector.
