Nujeifi discusses US withdrawal with Congress Delegation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Parliament Speaker Usama Nujeifi discussed with a visiting U.S. Congress delegation bilateral relations and the political situation in Iraq, as well as the withdrawal of U.S. forces. A statement issued by his office, as received by IraqiNews.com, said that he received late Monday night the U.S. Congress delegation, comprised of Senator John McCain and Lindsey Graham, in addition to a number of official and diplomats. The statement added that both sides discussed bilateral relations and the present political situation in Iraq and the region, as well the withdrawal of U.S. forces at the end of this year within the framework of the security agreement signed between the two countries.
