Nusaiyf accuses Kuwait of sticking to the issue of lost persons to keep Iraq under Seventh Chapter of UN’s Charter

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc accused Kuwait of “Sticking to the issues of the Kuwaiti lost persons and the dead bodies in order to keep Iraq under the Seventh Chapter of the UN’s Charter.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, she said “In spite of passing more than twenty years to the events of Kuwait and the Second Gulf War, but unfortunately we still hear some demands of some Kuwaiti officials for Iraq over the dead bodies and the lost persons as if this issue will never been settled.”

“Sticking to this issue by the Kuwaiti side aims to keep Iraq under the Seventh Chapter of the UN’s Charter and this is of another purposes such as the borders and controlling some of the Iraqi wealth,” she added.

She called the Iraqi government to “Not allow the Kuwait side to violate the Iraqi Sovereignty or keeping it under the Seventh Chapter, especially that the Kuwaiti side realizes that this issue is over years ago.”
