Nusaiyf calls to consider Iraqi benefit before resuming relations with Kuwait

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf, of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc called the government to consider the Iraqi benefit before resuming the commercial and investment relations with Kuwait.

“Dealing with Kuwait in the economic, cultural and security levels must be conditioned by the Iraqi benefits to avoid any mistakes like what happened with Turkey when it was not obliged to consider the Iraqi benefit,” she added.

She pointed out “Iraq did not get benefit from all the meetings that were held with Kuwait and this shows the need to have the conditional relations to preserve the Iraqi interest especially about the pending issues between the two countries.”

She stressed the necessity of “Waiting before resuming relations on all levels and to guarantee that the Iraqi benefit will be gained from all the deals.”
