Nusayif accuses political entities of forgery in local elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Aliya Nusayif of Hurra Iraqiya Slate accused Unified Coalition headed by Iraqi parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi of forging the local elections in northern Babel and southern Baghdad.

Nusaiyf stated to IraqiNews.com “The Islamic Party and Unified Coalition filled the forms of the polling for those citizens who did not vote,” noting “This appeared in the results of the sorting and counting of votes for some areas where there are obvious difference in the participation ratio and the ratio registered in the sorting and counting of votes.”

“The Shiite areas did not monitor such violations while disparity was registered in northern and southern Baghdad and north of Babel,” she added.

She called the “Independent High Electoral Commission to take samples of the polling centers to figure out the real percentages of the voters and their participation ratio and the number of the papers in the ballot boxes.”
