Parliamentarian – governmental delegation visits Sistani

NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: A parliamentary – governmental delegation on Saturday visited Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani in Najaf to update him about the latest development within the Iraqi era, including the proposed Iraqi-U.S. security pact, a source said. “The delegation consisted of Khalid al-Atiya – deputy parliament’s speaker, Ali al-Adeeb – deputy head of the Unified Iraqi Alliance (UIA) Shiite parliamentary bloc, and Tareq Najim – manager of premier’s Nouri al-Maliki’s office,” the source told IraqiNews.com.
