Parliamentary delegation heads to Manila

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A parliamentary delegation headed by the first Deputy Speaker, Qusay al-Sihail, to Manila, the capital of Philippines on Friday.

A statement by Sihail’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “The delegation headed to Manila in response to an invitation from the Congress and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Philippines to consolidate parliamentary relations.”

“The delegation will conduct several meetings with the officials in Philippines over the means to consolidate bilateral parliamentary relations,” the statement added.

“The visit comes within the course of the parliament efforts to consolidate its relation with the parliaments all over the world,” the statement mentioned.

“The parliament sent similar invitations to the other parliaments,” the statement concluded.
