Parliament’s explosion is a security disappointment – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Parliamentarian Fadhila (Chastity) bloc MP called the security forces to disclose the details of the terrorist explosion that hit the parliament headquarter last Monday. Mp Hussein al-Miribi described the situation as “disappointing to the security forces”. Fadhila Party Media Center said that “the parliamentarian security commission should recalculate the situation”. “We have to re-check the files of all protection organs of the parliament, as well as all those working in the check points”, he confirmed. An explosion took part in the parliament last Monday which led to the injury of a Kurdish Alliance MP, Muayad al-Tayib, and some killings. The nature of the explosion is not decided yet, where viewpoints differed between a bombed car or a mortar shelling. RM (TI)/SR 432
