Patriots bloc rejects withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Juma al-Matyoti, confirmed “The Patriots bloc rejects withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Patriots bloc rejects withdrawing confidence from Maliki because of his brave stance to get back the disputed areas and supporting their citizens.”

He assured “The people of the disputes areas in Nineveh, Salah-il-Din, Diyala and Kirkuk provinces find Maliki as the person who worked hard to get back these areas to their provinces from Kurdistan Region.”

“Some MPs from Nineveh, who are subjected to the pressures of political leaders or the foreign sides, reject withdrawing confidence from Maliki,” he concluded.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”

It is worth mentioning that Kurdistan Region witnesses political movement to settle the crisis; among the solutions presented by the political sides in Kurdistan Region is to withdraw confidence from the government.
